Whole lotta linkage.

Lack of posting my continue for awhile, as my Master of Architecture studio thesis project is going to be owning my life for the summer, along with a variety of other things I have my fingers in.

Winy Maas of MVRDV was supposed to coming in a couple times throughout the summer as a guest critic. Sadly, as of yesterday it has fallen though at the last moment. Something involving a contract.... good thing I did not run around announcing it to everyone on the internet, like the school ran around telling us it was definitely happening. I'm not bitter...

So it goes...

Anyway, before you go to the bars to watch the Cavs tonight, go to Spaces Gallery and see the winners announced for the Cleveland Design Competition. Things get going at 6:30, with the announcement at 7:30.
As far as I know the party is moving down the street to the Bier Market on West 25th after, for your Cavs watching excitement.

Then at Spaces on Friday, is the last event in accordance with the Shrinking Cities Exhibitions, as German architect Johannes Fiedler will be giving a gallery talk tomorrow night, at 7:30pm.

Tomorrow morning (I think it starts at 8), if you do not have to work, or can get out of it, make your way to Cleveland City Hall for the final City of Cleveland Planning Commission meeting discussing the fate of the Breuer Tower. I believe that the 'other side' will be presenting their argument, with a vote to follow.

Also, check this out on RealNEO

No matter what the fate, put your artisitic frustations to work and design what you would do with the Breuer Tower.

And while you're at, redesign Public Square too.

I'll get to that right after I'm done redesigning Iceland.
