Screwed?

Tim Ferris has, once again, a great post about Friday's City of Cleveland Planning Commission meeting regrading the fate of the Breuer/Ameritrust Tower.

Things sound incredibly shady in the deep, dark, depths of the inner workings of local politics. One has to wonder if the PD is in on the fix too. I did not see anywhere where they reported on the meeting.

In spite of their architecture critic Steven Litt, multiple times, yelling foul, the PD's editorial board did come out and say they want it torn down in the past. I would assume that is why the coverage of this issue has lacked.

Just when it didn't look like it could get any shader, it gets shader. Sadly, it appears this people will stop at nothing to screw this up for the taxpayers of Cuyahoga County and for Cleveland's architectural heritage.
